DRAWINGS

"I also paint. There is something joyful for me in the act of painting. It relaxes me, recharges me. I could find similarities between my sculpture and my painting, such as a certain work of covering, lead for sculpture and a thin white film for painting. My painting, like my sculpture, is gestural. I maintain a very physical relationship with the material. The brush is an extension of my hands. I lay my canvases on the floor and I paint while circling around them."
